Baratza Vario W+ electric grinder

The Vario W+ is a compact electric coffee grinder with built-in scale. Now it's even easier to get the maximum flavor out of your coffee beans at home.
With robust internal components, many adjustment options and an accurate integrated digital scale, the VarioW+ is the key to an accurate, perfect and consistent grind. Simply put, the grinder does the heavy lifting, you only have to determine how many grams of coffee you need and press start!

You can expect accurate ground coffee doses down to the 10th gram, for both a fine grind for espresso and a coarse grind for filter coffee. With the new, easy-to-read backlit LCD display and the modernized user interface, setting up the different brewing methods is very easy.

Burrs
The steel flat grinding discs of the Vario W+ are optimal for grinding different brewing methods such as espresso, pour-over, filter and French Press. The discs are designed to bring out the flavor of the coffee with a wide grinding range from 230 to 1150 microns. The coffee grinder produces few fines thanks to the superior quality of the metal discs.

Digital display
The LCD screen on the front is user-friendly and intuitive. With three programmable buttons you can program the desired weight (+/- 0.1 grams). Press the START button to start the Vario W+ and the device will deliver a precise dose.

Settings
The Vario W+ offers macro and micro settings so you can easily adjust the settings. The macro adjustment goes from fine to coarse grinding in 10 different steps. With a second slider you further divide the 10 macro steps into 22 different Micro settings. With these setting options you are guaranteed to find the right grinding degree for your double espresso, for example.

retention
To maximize freshness, the Vario W+ bean grinder minimizes the amount of ground coffee remaining in the grinder.

Brewing methods
The Vario W+ is ideal for espresso and filter brewing methods. When grinding espresso, it is recommended to store the coffee in the bean container. "Single Dose" grind is not recommended by Baratza for espresso. For brewing methods with a coarser grind than espresso, a single dose is no problem.

Engine
The powerful 130 Watt motor with high torque drives the burrs effortlessly. This motor runs slowly resulting in cool, quiet operation and allows for a long grinding cycle. Without beans, the engine speed is 1350 RPM.

Hopper
The hopper holds approximately 300 g of coffee. Thanks to a unique bean seal in the hopper, the beans can be removed easily and hassle-free when you want to change coffee beans. The amount of "Bean waste" (under the stopper) is very low, approx. 10g, after removing the hopper. (the weights may vary due to the hardness of the beans). The collection tray holds approx. 142 grams of ground coffee.

Calibration
The Vario W+ is factory calibrated to ensure an accurate grind range. If necessary, the durable burrs can be easily calibrated using the special calibration tool. This comes standard with the mill. If you need a finer grind, you can use the tool to put the discs closer together.

To clean
With the included tool you can easily remove the grinding discs to clean the grinder properly. We recommend that you regularly remove the fine particles and broken pieces of coffee beans with a vacuum cleaner. You can wipe the outside of the mill with a damp cloth.

Resume
This compact bean grinder takes up little space, has an intuitive control panel, a scale that is accurate to the nearest tenth of a gram, and macro/micro adjustment levers for precise grind adjustment. This coffee grinder is suitable for daily use and with its professional grind you can easily enjoy fresh coffee at home.
