Nicaragua - Maritza & Francisco's Plum Sauce

This coffee is unique because it has a clear plum sauce, custard and lilac taste.

Maritza and Francisco Javier each own separate plots of land , wich is somewhat rare for a farming couple( in most case te male head - of - households has all the land in his name ). Maritza can be seen washing coffee and Francisco takes pride in carrying sacks to be deplulped and fermented.Javiers family donated some land to the community to build a church, wich abuts their coffee plots. They enthusiastically show visitors their coffee and farms to take great pride in their work.

Gold Mountain Coffee Growers gave Maritza and Francisco financiering to purchase a truck , which helps them haul their coffee from the fiels to their micromill.
