Don Francisco is one of the first farmers to join Gold Mountain Coffee Growers when he and Gold Mountain's Flagship were both members of a Fraid Trade cooperative that suffered from mismanagement. Gold Mountain has provided Don Francisco financing throughout the years as well as market access, actions which have allowed him to purchase and then triple the size of his farm ( Finca San Francisco).
Working with Gold Mountain has also allowed him to improve his wet mill and house , fund multiple lifesaving operations for his grandchild, and produce this volume specialty lot that rivals small microlots for quality, either as espresso or pourover.
